Lawyer & Workplace Investigator
Katie Reszitnyk is an experienced employment lawyer, and has worked extensive on matters involving allegations of human rights infringements in the workplace, including harassment, discrimination, and systemic racism, as well as allegations of other types of workplace misconduct.
Katie has also used her breadth of experience and knowledge to provide education on workplace matters to members of her community. Katie is familiar with the variety of situations that result in the need for a workplace investigation, and recognizes that each situation is different. Accordingly, Katie takes a compassionate, detail-oriented approach and strives to understand the unique circumstances of every matter she takes on.
Katie completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto, where she simultaneously completed her Master of Global Affairs. Prior to law school, Katie attended McMaster University, where she obtained an Honours degree in Arts & Science and Art History. Katie was called to the Bar in 2018.
Katie is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, and is currently on the New Lawyers’ Subcommittee.
