Lynia Vincent effectively helps clients work through many complex workplace issues by conducting thorough external workplace investigations and culture assessments. She has experience conducting investigations into allegations of harassment and workplace violence, code of conduct violations, bullying, poisoned work environments, and other problematic workplace behaviour. Lynia is also available to assist clients understand their internal issues better through workplace assessments and reviews, and to assist in resolving interpersonal and other conflict between employees as a workplace Mediator.

Lynia’s clients appreciate the thoroughness of her reports, her understanding of the role that workplace culture plays into employee actions and her ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. She believes a balanced and thoughtful approach to investigating matters always yields the best results for all involved and, when requested, makes thoughtful and concrete recommendations for dealing with the results of a workplace investigation.

Lynia is a Senior Human Resources Professional with over 25 years of experience, spanning a variety of business sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, engineering and not-for-profit. Lynia is well versed in all areas of Human Resources and the workplace, including employee relations, learning and development, recruitment, employment equity, health and safety, project management, payroll, mergers and acquisitions, and policy and program development, allowing her to efficiently and effectively grasp the complexities of the issues before her, whether in the context of an investigation, assessment or mediation.

Lynia holds a designation of Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), and Registered Recruiting Professional (RRP). Lynia is also a Certified Internal Trainer, Certified Advanced Investigator, with training in Advanced Alternate Dispute Resolution, Workplace Assessments/Restoration and Advanced Techniques in Conducting Internal Workplace Investigations.

Additionally, Lynia is a volunteer board member of the Institute of Professional Management (IPM), a member of Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) and Canadian Association of Workplace Investigators (CAWI).
